Responsibilities:
As a Technical Writer, your role will be pivotal in producing comprehensive and user-friendly
documentation for our technical products and solutions. Your responsibilities include:
• Collaboration: Working closely with product managers, product marketing, and engineers to
create and maintain a variety of technical documents, such as User Guides, Integration Guides,
API Developer Guides, and in-platform instructions like tooltips and welcome messages.
• Simplification: Translating intricate technical concepts into content that is not only informative
but engaging, ensuring our users can easily grasp and utilize our products.
• Quality Assurance: Serving as an editor to maintain consistency and quality in training
documentation, guaranteeing that users have a seamless learning experience across different
materials.
• Multimedia Documentation: Developing and maintaining supplementary aids beyond traditional
documentation. This can include online videos, interactive demos, guided tours, and other
educational resources to enhance user comprehension.
• Effective Communication: Utilizing your strong written and verbal communication skills to
convey technical information effectively, making it accessible to a diverse audience through
various mediums.
• Ownership: Taking full ownership of the documentation process from the initial concept stage
through to publication and subsequent updates.
• Multitasking: Demonstrating excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage and
prioritize multiple projects, even in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
• Technical Proficiency (Preferred): If you have prior hands-on experience with Python and
machine learning (ML) frameworks, it’s a significant advantage. This background will help you
better understand and document the technical aspects of our products.
Qualifications:
• To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical
Communication.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Technical Writer at a software company with a strong
portfolio showcasing your past projects.
• Strong ability to translate technical jargon into user-friendly, clear, and concise content.
• Proficient in various documentation tools such as Markdown, readthedocs, Confluence, or
similar.
• Proficiency in writing and editing technical content for a diverse audience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Familiarity with documentation tools and technologies.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, allowing you to manage multiple tasks
effectively.• The ability to collaborate as a team player, as your work will involve close interaction with
various departments.
• Experience with documentation for AI or machine learning products.
• Knowledge of modern programming languages such as Python
• Previous experience in a software development role or close collaboration with development
teams.
